What Is Transcription?
Effective communication is a vital part of how we interact with others, and transcription is a tool that allows us to communicate with those who speak different languages. Transcription is the process of taking spoken language and converting it to written form. It can often involve translation as well when that document needs to be communicated to other languages.

At Affordable Language Services, we offer two options for transcription:
English Only
We take a recording of someone speaking English and transcribe it in English. There is no translation aspect to this option.
Multi-Language
Think of this as transcription and translation. You give us a recording of someone speaking and we transcribe it in that language. Then, we translate it to the language of your choice.
The Process
Our transcription process is quick, efficient, and always accurate. The first thing we do is have someone transcribe the spoken language. This allows us to ensure that before we translate (if you’re doing multi-language transcription) we have the original document completely accurate. Then, we translate it into the language you want if you need translation services. After translation, another person edits for accuracy. Finally, the document is sent to our internal Quality Assurance Department.
